What a warm feeling it gives when your little one comes up begging you to help them on the couch so they can sit quietly and read the book {or books} in their hand. 

new favorite photo app.

So I was just introduced to the photo app Afterglow. And so far I love it! Think it may now be my go-to for framing and film flare.

Don't mind if I brag a little about these photos :). I absolutely love how they turned out!

The light was playful and golden, the field and trees had yet to turn grey from winter, and look at that amazing chair and Radio Flyer wagon brought by the family (it's always fun when the families are as into the photo session as the photographer is). Everything lined up so nicely, it was a fun evening.

the oswalds. {a mini photo session}

What a beautiful family! We did a mini shoot back in November, when the trees were still covered in gorgeous yellow and orange leaves. It was a tad chilly, so we did have to move quickly with the kiddos, but they did great! Photographing families is such a joy. Especially when the family is filled with so much joy already... And, I'm Back!

Hello, everyone! Hope you all enjoyed the holidays! For us, the days surrounding and leading up to each holiday were busy with events, but the days themselves were calm and quiet. It was just our little family this year. 

As a photographer you'd think I'd be better at keeping my camera on hand, but I can actually be quite terrible at remembering to bring it along. I get caught up in the day and don't think to pick it up until it's too late! But, I did manage to get a few good ones...

Well that was our last month in a nutshell!

I also wanted to say thank you to all of you who supported us so many ways in 2012. It had it's challenges and we're so grateful for our community! We have built great friendships these last few years.
